They probably replaced the American Flag with a mexican flag out of "respect for the other students".SQLGeek wrote:I wonder if they also took the flag down that was probably flying in the front of the school. Why is this kind of ridiculous behavior by school administrators tolerated?
The Mexican flag is probably the ONLY one they ever fly!tauruspt145 wrote:They probably replaced the American Flag with a mexican flag out of "respect for the other students".SQLGeek wrote:I wonder if they also took the flag down that was probably flying in the front of the school. Why is this kind of ridiculous behavior by school administrators tolerated?
Only draping or wearing of the flag, not images or emblematic graphics of it, are disallowed.XtremeDuty.45 wrote:I do not agree with wearing the clothing as it is against the flag code...but then again the flag code is simply that a code it is not law.
I agree with the above I cannot discuss my true feelings on this matter w/o breaking the forum rules.
Last I checked this was still America NOT Mexico. This completely disgusts me.
(d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker's desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general.
...and you can bet I would wear my America Flag shirt when I visited the principal to let my outrage be known!!USA1 wrote:Yeah, I heard about that...UNBELIEVABLE !![]()
As a parent, I would be outraged if my son was sent home or told to change shirts.
Because good people don't go to the school board meetings and inform the board that either the administrator gets fired from any job in the district, or the school board will see the consequences of their anti-American policies on election day.SQLGeek wrote:I wonder if they also took the flag down that was probably flying in the front of the school.

Has anyone heard this?
