Maybe the UN should start to concentrate on the millions of children who don't attend any type of school, that live is squallow and that try and survive in a war zone before they start belly aching about those who are more in danger of carple tunnel from texting than in danger from firearms in the house.

I guess they see it as an easy soft win.....but I think they may have misjudged the fight in the man :)

We need to stop supporting the UN with funding, military support, or anything else.

Any organization with this statue out front is no friend of the citizens.

Someone should go and cut that knotted barrel off that pistol outside the UN some night. It would leave it looking just about like a 2" S&W. :tiphat:

Not in Texas. Each state has their own laws governing home schools. If you want more information you can go here. http://www.thsc.org

Obama would like nothing more than to "change" the face of the U.S. Government. He subscribes whole-heartedly to the UN agenda and socialistic thinking. Why would anyone think that he wouldn't try adopting this UN garbage? He's working it from every conceivable angle. And with Palosi, Reid, Waxman and all the other stooges toting the Obama ideology, they will take advantage of every attempt to cram it down our throats.

The voice of the people is the only thing that will stop these lunatics. I'm being very vocal about it to the legislators that represent me. I hope everyone else is too.

Nope. treaties do not supercede the Constitution.

You misunderstand my comment mymojo. Of COURSE international treaty does NOT override the Constiution. I was referring ONLY to that half baked proposal, which will not even be considered now, as it was in the past. It was originally introduced in 1989.

What you misunderstand is the passage I quoted. However if this treaty has the off chance of being ratified, one of the provisions is that it subrogates the Constitution.......which leads me to say there's not a snowball's chance in the Big Bend area in the middle of the summer for it to be ratified. QED.

The 2nd Amendment protects all the others!

Interesting that they have a photo of "King" Charles front and center. The British Monarchy is an anachronism who has never stopped coveting control of America. We won't be safe until that illegitimate Monarchy is ended.
