I can see it now. One minute after obama or any congessman opens up his letter and the teabag falls out, the cops show up to arrest me for sending hazardous materials through the mail. And for making threats to the president.

Re: Time to stand up
When my wife forwarded one of the TEA emails, she proposed sending a picture of a teabag, for that very reason.

And this is why they get away with it..

Um..
What kind of threat exactly does a teabag make other than "you're fired if you keep it up?"

Re: Time to stand up
Look here. I didn't say it was a bad idea. I was just trying to make a point about how stupid this new administration is and how they turn things around to suit them. I write my conressman at least once a month. And my state senator and congessman when needed. So far the only one I'm mad at is my state senator. And he's a republican. The thing that made me mad was that he didn't think Texas needed to pass an open carry law. I wrote him back and said next election I don't think he needs be be re-elected.

snopes.com: New American Tea Party
This snopes article has a good "answer".....just mail the tea bag label...that way it'll get through the Post Office Sorting Machinge, the DC security scanners and won't cost extra money to send it......
So I'm just sending the label and addressing it:
Protest Against Any Further Stimulus Packages
1600 Pennsylvania Ave
Washington DC 20500

Re: Time to stand up
Sounds like a good idea to me. They seem to turn a deaf ear to our phone calls and emails, and just go ahead and do what they want to do.
