Re: Kenosha Wisconsin Shooter discussion
Jury voted to start at 9:00 AM. I'm sure judge will let them go about their deliberations and outside of their presence address this.
Listening to rekieta law last night and live now. But last night he said he thinks this judge is pee-disposed to let the jury decide and only if jury hung or found guilty would he rule on this motion. We will find out within the next 30 minutes or so.
He also made good point last night that he hopes defense adds Jumpkick man issue to the motion as another violation.

On youtube livestream of rekieta law, one of the attorneys commenting said that the jury was in deliberations. But nothing on livestream from court. Ugh. Would love to hear this motion before the court and the judge's reaction.rtschl wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 9:54 am Jury voted to start at 9:00 AM. Legal Insurrection Verdict Watch https://legalinsurrection.com/2021/11/r ... ore-370610
In late-breaking news the night of November 16, 2021, the defense filed a motion for a mistrial with prejudice on grounds that the State failed to provide the defense with the high-definition drone video in its possession, insteady merely providing the defense with a low-resolution version of that video, as well as on other grounds.

Re: Kenosha Wisconsin Shooter discussion
Jury had a question... wants to watch video in evidence and wants to know if they have to watch it in court. Judge mentions he hasn't read the motion to dismiss filed yesterday (he does have another trial starting Monday) and state has not responded to motion yet.
Defense said they would object to the jury watching the drone footage which is the subject of the motion to dismiss.

So here's the disparity of video/image. Top is what the defense was given by the DA. Bottom is what the DA used.

Re: Kenosha Wisconsin Shooter discussion
Can't believe that the defense is not putting up much of a fight and even verbally asked for motion WITHOUT prejudice - just unbelievable!
In court today brought up about different video size. 3rd defense lawyer nailed ADA Kraus about file name, file size and meta data that showed different time of creation. ADA Kraus said he nor anyone knows how to compress or change video. But screen capture during his rebuttal shows he has editing and compression software in the folder of video. That would appear to me he lied to the court.

Prosecutor’s Star witness a career criminal. Caught videotaping police officers private cars. DUI dropped just 6 days before trial. Carrying a gun while intoxicated. Domestic abuse.
Jury knew nothing about his bg background.

It's outrageous that the criminal Grosskreutz isn't in jail. Especially after what Grosskreutz admitted on the stand.philip964 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 7:16 pm https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... trial.html

Internet sleuths still coming through for the defense. I hope they are paying attention!
It appears the DA's office submitted the Fox video originally shown on Tucker Carlson's show last year. This wasn't just dropped off by the evidence fairy. AND - both files were edited with Apple Quicktime. This explains the very weird resolutions - they cropped out the Fox header.
