This is a long read, and it has broader implications than just the gun rights debate, and I think it does well at describing the reasons we find ourselves where we are today. I love the term "Vichycon" because it so accurately describes them.Whenever something like the El Paso atrocity occurs—and they’re much rarer than you’re being propagandized to believe—the ruling class and its Conservatism, Inc. auxiliary enforcement wing leap into action, on the same side, to blame the “far right” and its “rhetoric.” Amazingly, it never seems to occur to “conservatives”—supposedly in possession of a deep understanding of human nature and society—that there might be another explanation.
We’ll get to that. But first we need to establish the vast and grotesque extent to which these Vichycons—collaborators with the enemy ruling class—accept, proselytize and enforce all the premises of their ostensible opponents.

Perhaps this is the new term that Kurt Schlichter will be using at Townhall.com. Kurt coined the term Fredocon after the middle brother Fredo in the Godfather movies. However, that term is no longer allowed to be used as it is the equivalent of calling someone a n-word (according to Chris "Fredo" Cuomo of CNN.The Annoyed Man wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2019 11:08 am https://americanmind.org/essays/vichyco ... shootings/This is a long read, and it has broader implications than just the gun rights debate, and I think it does well at describing the reasons we find ourselves where we are today.
