Poll: Are anti 2A government officials evil?

I am not very religious but this thread got me thinking, viewtopic.php?f=83&t=96876.

Especially the following Bible verses:

Ephesians 6:10-18 New International Version (NIV)
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

If The Bill of Rights are from the Creator, does that mean the elected officials who want to do away with the 2A are evil, or are they just naive? By naive I mean do they truly think more gun control will make us safer? Or, do they need gun control and confiscation to implement the full weight of socialism upon us? I am only talking about the politicians, not the celebrities and others who think we care what they think. Just the people who will or could pass new legislation.

It is far more complicated than the politicians alone. The elitist of this country are constantly working to stay on top of the rest of us. They are, I believe, afraid the regular people are going to rise up against them and take away their power. The very wealthy top of the food chain can all afford armed security and fortresses to live behind. Crime is not what they fear. A rebellion against their way of life is.

Since they are individuals, it is hard to say that in all cases taking and anti 2A stance is evil. On the other hand, if they are students of human nature and the Constitution, Government officials should understand that taking such a stance at least implies a belief in Statism (the Rights of man exist only so far as they serve the State or collective). To me, that belief -- denying the individual Liberty and Rights of man -- is either evil or has its roots in it.

I used to believe some well meaning people mistakenly support gun control laws. I'm not that naive any more.

I now realize politicians who support laws to infringe the right of the people to keep and bear arms are evil or crazy. Those are the only conceivable options.

Imagine somebody kidnaps a child, rapes them, kills them, and eats them. The only possibilities are evil, crazy, or both.

Let's stop making excuses for politicians who rape the constitution. Let's stop making excuses for their armed minions.
