Spotify, you had ONE JOB

#1

Post by jb2012 »

Does anyone else here use spotify? I don't pay for the app, but do take advantage of the program on my computer. It has most any song that has been recorded with some exceptions. I have been using it to listen to some of my underground Texas music that I enjoy so much. Many of these bands are not on any other website including itunes, making spotify the only option. I already have an issue with the fact that they pay the artists almost nothing for the music that they broadcast, but now.... I had a pop-up about "guns" while listening tonight. I turned it on and I'm pretty sure my blood pressure went up. :banghead: :mad5: I'm not going to go into detail about what was said, because we have heard the exact same anti-gun arguments that have been proven false countless times. But it really really REALLY got under my skin that the one place I was able to go to without having to listen to a political agenda of some sort, is now corrupted. Spotify you had one job, and you failed. Congratulations on ruining something pretty great.

if you feel like listening to a donkey flatulate at a high rate of speed check out spotify.com/clarify

P.S. Why does the left continually bring up the same arguments that the right has disproven countless times?

Sounds like a paid commercial. I use Spotify but pay the monthly fee so I don't have to listen to commercials.

Wow, I haven't encountered that. Looks like it may have been an advertisement for one of the podcasts.

Complain about it. The left is constantly complaining about our messages, and we are expected to accommodate them. We need to complain when we are subjected to their blather. Let commercial companies know that that content offends you. Don't let the media shame you into being silent.
I prefer dangerous freedom to safety in chains.

Let's go Brandon.

https://www.spotify.com/us/about-us/contact/

Has a bunch of contact info. I don't facebook, but I'm told commenting on a company's facebook page can also get their attention. However, it would probably also garner a backlash of hate when any controversial subject is involved.

I will absolutely be doing that. I can handle some fb "hate," as I find myself pretty knowledgeable about this topic :biggrinjester: .
