Texas state agency meeting notices - Government Documents

#1

Post by oljames3 »

I found this list of Texas state agency meetings comprising 179 meetings from 7/24/16 to 9/14/16. Obviously, this list is not effective notice.

I counted four agencies prohibiting the carrying of firearms. They cite 46.035 and/or 30.06/30.07. This covers a total of 6 meetings.

The interesting part, for me, is that 173 meetings are not prohibiting the carrying of firearms.

Wow! Thanks for wading through all that stuff! My eyes got blurry after the 3rd or 4th meeting.

Very interesting. :tiphat:

Ctrl+F can be your friend. Instead of having to wade through that whole thing.

I think the OP is correct in that those notices were effective notice for those that received them. However, unless they posted signs at the meetings anyone else that attended who did not receive them would not have been properly notified. Then there were two other meetings notices that did not include 30.06 or 30.07 language, but did say that signs would be posted at the meetings.
