NRA convention record still held by Houston

Been meaning to post this for a few days
The 2016 NRA convention in Louisville came close to breaking a record attendance.
Within 86000 of beating the record still held by the Houston 2013 record.
Says lot about the Texas attendance. While I hope the NRA can continue beating records its nice to know we set the bar high.

You betcha. Within 86,000 of beating the record attendance, and 86,000 ain't chump change.

The 2013 Houston meeting was amazing. The NRA even got the host hotel to pull down its 30.06 signs.

(Psst, NRA: come back to Texas sooner rather than later.)

I've been to a lot of conventions, and events. But the Houston NRA convention was the best party ever. The people were incredible. The Vender, presenters and visiters were the nicest people. Never touched and held so many guns in one day .. I hope they come back to Houston again someday.

I have seen this also in a couple of places on the old interwebs. Dallas- May 4-6, 2018.

My Dad and I went to the last one in Houston. That attendance record was high even with local parking lots charging $30 or more to park. I think the next one I may just try to find a hotel room in Downtown Houston so I have the option of going somewhere to rest before going back. We were worn out and I think there were booths we didn't even try to visit. I could have gone back the next day.

Yep, Dallas in 2018.

2017 is in Atlanta.

I went to the one in Indy in 2014 before I moved down here. I was trying to go to Louisville this year but already had plans that wouldn't allow me to go. It was a great two days!
