I never underestimate people's stupidity. If you do, expect to be constantly surprised.

I am so disgusted that I can't even come up with enough invective to express how I feel. I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could.

I'm becoming more and more convinced Lex Luthor had the right idea. :???:

If you were a short film maker you could have some fun with this one. Have a detachable magazine flying around attacking people.
Maybe show a guy running out of ammo and pulling out the magazine and throwing it at the enemy.

It is so sad to see the morons that are elected to public office. It will take some company like MagPul less than a month to figure out a techical solution that gets around this latest absurdity. Hey, maybe a rifle that loads from a stripper clip, whaddya think?

^^^^^^^^^ Incredible, isn't it ?

My Daughter is 'Travel Nursing' in Commiefornia. She is here (Texas) visiting....but will leave tomorrow to drive back to SoCal.

She is fine through Texas, New Mexico and Arizona, but once she reaches Kali, she will have to stop...unload her pistol, lock it up, store it away. Unload her shotgun and re-case it. Neither weapon will be ANY good to her at all. Young female (my only child) traveling alone, no means of adequate protection.

I am absolutely seething....thinking about how liberals have ruined that State.

I am sure there are some great people somewhere in California. I hope the legislate themselves into a total gun ban and confiscation. And then watch as the bad guys, narcos, and gangs take over the streets... Well, take over more than they already have.

We already have some great data points such as the last 20 years crime rates vis-a-vis gun ownership rates over the same period showing crime halving while gun ownership doubled. Let's let California give us some data points, except I hate to say it but those data points will be people's lives :(

TAM, you're a naturalized Texan, you aren't the run-of-the-mill ex-Californian.

Thank you. I hold it as an honor. Having moved here from California, I feel like someone who has escaped a communist dictatorship and came to the U.S. in pursuit of liberty. I thank God I am here, I try to follow in the footsteps of those who blend wisdom with an appreciation of liberty, I appreciate it maybe a little more than some, and I am frustrated by those who would ruin a good thing in the name of various bizarre activisms. I include in that list:
  • OCT
  • Moms Against Everything
  • OCTC
  • Left-leaning Texas politicians
  • Nearly everything democrat in Texas
  • About a dozen other things better left unsaid
And, without trying to sound like a suckup, I thank God for people like Charles L. Cotton and LOT of the members of this forum who have taught me over time the meaning of liberty, tempered by responsibility. You're never too old to learn.
