Arrested for wearing fatigues

‘Suspicious’ man with gun, army fatigues reported on University of Texas at Arlington campus

http://wtvr.com/2015/12/16/suspicious-m ... on-campus/

"Suspicious" man wearing fatigues was reported with a gun. School locks down during finals; man is found, but no gun. He's still a "suspect" and was still "apprehended" for apparently nothing more than wearing fatigues.

Maybe someone just didn't want to take their exam?

I've read reports saying he was carrying photography equipment, which can understandably be mistaken for a long gun from a distance.
Keep calm and carry.

Just wear a skullcap/kufi to appear as a Muslim. No one will even think of reporting you for fear they might be "profiling."

You never know, he could have violated someone's safespace and his military attire could have been perceived as micro-aggressions against some minority group. :biggrinjester:

Couldn't this guy hit the jackpot with a false arrest lawsuit or something?

And how did they know that he wasn't in some way affiliated with the ROTC unit?
