Well, that's one more tick toward me supporting him. :-)

I don't trust him, he has no track record to verify most of what he says. What he says just doesn't add up.

He started off as a side show and has somehow gained some legs.

This is interesting to watch.

Cruz is being uncharacteristically quiet. Wondering if he is just biding his time or something else.

You could say the same thing about any candidate or politician. We are just stuck trying to pick the best one out of the bunch. It kills me how some people don't think he has the right to be running because he isn't qualified. Another example of not knowing what's in the US Constitution. I don't recall it saying you have to be a lawyer, politician, or wealthy. I think a so called outsider needs to be elected to put all of these career politicians in their place. Let them know the people decide who will be elected. Not their purse, political standing or the media. IMHO

The Constitution doesn't say much, 35 yo and born in this country, and now, not have served two terms already. That doesn't mean you ought to vote for someone who meets only these minimal quals.

I don't see many people saying he doesn't have the right to run. I do see quite a few worried about his experience, character, temperament, etc. and they should consider all these and more in determining who to vote for.

Letting the people decide who will be elected goes straight at term limits, as I noted in a post in another thread that is what will happen here.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

Exactly, I was surprised at how many ill informed people we had that voted our current president in twice so it should not be a surprise that people fall for Trump. It's like nobody stops to think that he is lying to get into office, but since his lies are what people want to hear they are enamored by him and cannot see through the nonsense.

That's a new one. Who'd ever think that a politician, or anybody else, would lie to get into office?

The first priority of someone running for office is to get elected.
Their second priority is to get re-elected. :rules:

Right. Because nobody else running is lying to get into office?

Electing Trump is like buying tickets to watch Rome burn. Sadly, I don't know if its a bad thing at this point.

I'm sure he isn't the only one of the NY elites that has a carry permit?

As though ted crez has a chance to get elected. he is way to conservative for most of the country.

trump has a lot of money I'm sure he made an "extra" donation to get licensed.

Everyone lies when running (read my lips, no new taxes) but for some reason the majority of people I talk to think Trump is not lying.
