SMU article

I'm not commenting, the author quotes both sides to try and appear unbiased reporter. (Except that she quotes Colin's misinformation, and he tells about in VA where you visit a website for a CHL class and mail in results and they mail you a license etc, but no harm done)

They do have a poll on page 2, and to vote in it you visit http://politically-inclined.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Stricter gun control needed?

No. 53.85% (7 votes)

Yes, nationally. 30.77% (4 votes)

Yes, but just in the state of Arizona. Their laws are too lenient. 15.38% (2 votes)

Total Votes: 13

The 2-page article is at : http://www.smudailycampus.com/news/poli ... ?pagereq=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Looks like Colin is getting around pretty well.

Only 1 comment follows that article, from a Pro-Campus carry person.

I had to correct the author on this one ...

U.S. Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, D-N.Y., of New York's 4th Congressional District, presented a new bill to Congress yesterday that, if enacted, would make the sale and transfer of high capacity magazines. Shooting suspect Jared Loughner allegedly used a Glock 19 handgun with a similar extended magazine in the recent shooting.

High capacity magazines are ones that contain more than 10 rounds of ammunition.
My "SITE" comment below (I don't have a Facebook):
To correct your terminology

My Taurus PT917 has a "standard capacity" of 20 rounds
My Glock 17 has a "Standard capacity" of 17 rounds
My Taurus PT-92 and Beretta have "Standard Capacity" of 17 rounds

A "reduced capacity" or "crippled capacity" magazine is one where you add additional parts to decrease a law-abiding citizen's chance for survival against multiple attackers by limiting them to 10 rounds.

Jared in Tucson used those "foot-long" magazines which were easier to grab, whereas Cho used short "regular sized" magazines which were impossible to grab. So, Colin Goddard played possum and relied on the decision or mercy of Cho to let him live or not.

Soon, those "foot-long" magazines may be banned, so we'll be under the same conditions as Virginia Tech, or Luby's or other places shooters used short magazines which were faster to reload and impossible to grab.

Thanks a lot.
