She is not all there. I'm sure that officer Wilson didn't tell his assailant that he was going to use deadly force while being attacked in his vehicle. If that were law, then officer Wilson would have been guilty because he didn't warn his assailant that he was going to use deadly force.

The action is in the last few seconds of the video and doesn't include the actual shot fired, but it gives a non-LEO like me an idea of how fast something seemingly mundane can go wrong. I'd like for Sen. Nasheed to review this video and explain exactly where the warning should be given.

I watched that not believing that the officer was talking to this hinky guy who was acting suspiciously, letting him keep his hands in his pockets. You can get shot through a coat pocket with a revolver without someone even drawing the gun.

I'm going to say this one has no chance in passing. I can't believe someone would even write this sort of bill. It puts police at a significant disadvantage if they ever feel the need to use deadly force.

You don't get 10 extra seconds when you need to use deadly force. A few seconds could mean your life.

She thinks the law is too broad in the discretion it gives officers to decide when the use of deadly force is needed. She even says she doesn't know what it means.

I would contend the she hasn't been in a situation that would warrant it yet because she doesn't know. It's like one judge said about pornography, I can't define it, but I know it when I see it. Roughly speaking, of course.

If you're in a situation where deadly force is allowed or needed, I'm betting you'll know it at the time.
