You can carry as many guns as you want. Only one may be concealed at a time. Two is, for some reason, a no-no.
You can carry as many reloads as you want, concealed or otherwise.
You may carry into any place that sells alcohol for off-premises consumption. Keep it concealed.
I'm not sure about bars, because I don't visit them, so never bothered to find out.
We have open carry, no license required. Failure to conceal, outside of a few specific instances (such as places selling booze), simply does not exist. It just turns into open carry.
All signage is binding.
We still make a distinction between semi-auto and revolver for carry purposes. If you have a license that says "semi-auto," even if it lets you carry a revolver in your home state, I wouldn't carry a wheelgun here.
For some reason, we also make distinctions based on bullet size. You may not carry any gun chambered in a larger caliber than what you qualified for. Weird trivia, and probably inapplicable here, since if I remember correctly, Texas makes no caliber distinctions on their license, so there's no way to know if you're "out-caliber."

Schools...except in vehicle if older than 19
University Premises...except in vehicle if older than 19
Preschools
Courts (without the consent of the presiding judge) Court mea
ns: any Federal,
State, County, Municipal, or Tribal Court;
Tribal Land (unless authorized by the governing body of the tribe or pueblo)
Public buses
Airport security zones
Federal Properties...Military Bases, Courthouse, etc. National Parks and National Wildlife Management Areas are OK if you have a NM Permit/License to Carry or a Permit/License valid in New Mexico.
On private property where the owner has posted signs indicating that you may not carry or if the owner tells you that you cannot
Also, be aware that certain jurisdictions aren't as gun-friendly as others. IIRC, Albuquerque in particular has been spanked in civil court a few times for giving people rides to jail for not committing any crime.
Don't drink while carrying.
We're required to show the CHL ID, when asked.
Car carry is legal, and does not need to be hidden. Concealed or open is fine.
No NFA restrictions, except those federal.
