Sorry, I don't mean to offend, but not much sympathy regarding your ticket from me. If you were speeding and got caught, why are you complaining? Got any evidence that this is about this "stick it to the Texans" stuff? Why should Colorado traffic laws have a single thing to do with Texans? OTH, maybe small towns in Colorado really
are very, very tired of Texans who blow through and act like the laws don't apply to them and have nothing to do with the public safety.
You make your bed. You sleep in it. All I know is that, if someone from Colorado came blowing through my town of Grapevine with the attitude that our traffic enforcement had nothing to do with the safety of local residents and was
really all about revenue and "sticking it to Coloradoans," I would hope that our local enforcement would reward the attitude with the fines it deserves.
As far as whether or not you are required to show your CHL in Colorado, I would say that depends on Colorado law, since that state's laws are what applies in your situation.
