Democrats Push Bill Requiring Insurers to Report Homeowners Who Own Guns

California Assembly Member Mike Gipson introduced bill AB 3067, which would require insurance companies to include questions about firearms in homeowners’ or renters’ insurance applications.

“The bill would require an insurer to annually report this information to the Department of Insurance and the Legislature beginning on January 1, 2027, and would prohibit the inclusion of confidential identifying information in the report.”

Anybody stupid enough to tell their insurance company they have guns in the house deserves what they get.

My insurance policy covers my guns as well as other valuable personal property. Of course I tell them.
