A draft ordinance proposed by the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office would declare large-capacity ammunition magazines a “public nuisance” and authorize police to confiscate and destroy them.

That's weird, but what in LA isn't?

The City Attorney, Carmen Trutanich, was, before being elected City Attorney, a partner in Trutanich and Michel which is a big gun rights firm, counsel to the NRA, etc. "Helping firearm owners, dealers, ranges and Clubs statewide" Chuck Michel is the most prominent "gun lawyer" in Southern California. I have their magnetic sticky on my gun safes and their card in my wallet at all times, in case of need.

Of course, drafting an ordinance isn't the same as enacting it, and his old partner Chuck is absolutely certain to challenge it.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

I sound like a broken record...When CA did the bans of hi cap mags/guns, ect that many states are doing now the rest of the nation didn't care. Jump forward 15 years and look at what their next step is.........does anybody care now? The time to start the fight for the 2nd amendment was back then.... now we are playing catch up.
