There are a lot of questions on here about traveling in New Mexico, which is not surprising considering that NM is next to TX :)
As an NM CHL instructor (and soon to be TX CHL instructor), I consider these links a very good start in understanding our laws:
Handgunlaw.us Summary
Prohibited Places in N.M. (including signage requirements)
N.M. Weapons Laws
N.M. Use Of Force Flowchart, Statute and Selected Jury Instructions
N.M. CHL Statute
N.M. CHL Admin Rules
I also think it would be great if we created sticky threads in this section for every state bordering Texas. At a minimum it needs a summary, weapons laws, use of force laws, and CHL rules for each state.

Thanks for the links. If you have an iPhone "Gun Conceal" is a really nice app that gives you info on all 50 states. Its come in handy a number of times.

Just out of curiosity, how does NM deal with CHLs who carry in tribal lands while on Federal roads (interstate/us highway)? Are they subject to the "no carry w/o permission"?
