From what I have read on an Oklahoma based board that I am on, it has really been pretty quiet and a non issue, and the guys on that board actually seem a little disappointed.
Several have gotten "looks" and a couple have gotten comments, but no one has run away screaming for the police.
They are disappointed that people are not running away screaming "He's/She's has a gun".

Probably what will happen here if "our side" ever makes an effort to get an OC option. I don't see it happening though. To worried about offending someone or isolated incidents of legal ignorance.
Good for Oklahoma! Glad to see some folks in this country still have the back-bone to fight for their rights.

That's the narrative the anti-OC on our side wants to hear! Anyone that can get and maintain a CHL is far to ignorant and wreckless to OC responsibly.
There is an article in the [Pre-paid legal service] newsletter about OK law as it pertains to reciprocity.
Long story short, there is some question if we as TX holders can open carry. One law says we can't and
another says we can. There is a big push for lawmakers to clarify this but until they do, it may be wise to
keep your gun covered thus keeping your butt covered!

Do you know which laws are conflicting? Would you post them here or links to them?
The OSBI, the equivalent to our Texas Rangers, said that it would be legal for those with a CHL from Texas to OC in Oklahoma.

Any link or help on finding an official opinion? It is VERY relevant to my situation here.

Ironically, I don't have a link either. One of the Oklahoma members in the Oklahoma subforum over at OCDO posted that to me when I asked about me being able to OC in Oklahoma. The person claimed to have called the legal office at the OSBI and they said it would be legal and that I could call to verify it myself. I have not called, but I do keep checking the Oklahoma subforum there to see if there is anymore information or official opinion.

It has certainly be said before, but I don't think I would open carry here...but would like to adopt the law. Then I would not have to worry about a shirt stuck over it and not realizing it. I would consider myself a "first" target if some mayhem was breaking out if I was the only one carrying and it wasn't concealed. Kind of like the bad guys wondering who is going to take them out first!
I don't carry my 40 all the time, just when I leave my home!
