NYC-YUCK!

#1

Post by Dan20703 »

I'm headed to the airport this morning for a week long business trip to the NYC area. Not at all thrilled about this. First time in quite a while that I will be without a handgun for my self protection. My usal trips are to states that honor my TX CHL.

This trip may become a repeat over the next few months. :grumble

YUCK!

Maybe I should have put this in the prayer request section.:
There will always be prayer in schools as long as there are tests.

I just went to the NYC and felt completely safe there. Large police presence. I would rather have a gun but I felt safe

Enjoy the trip Dan. As much as I dislike NYC politics, it can be a fun place to visit. There's plenty to see and do and ... eat. ;-)

Yeah, I like visiting NYC, but I would never EVER want to live there.

And NYC taxi rides are usually cheaper than Six Flags admission, and FAR more scary - and the lines are shorter. "rlol"

:iagree: One time when my boss came back to work after a trip to NYC he was wearing a neck brace. I asked him "What happened? Were you in an accident?" He said no accident - it was from a taxi ride! "rlol"

I'm a little disappointed.

When I read the title I thought it was going to be a thread about the 3 Stooges.

Wait a second, how many deputy mayors does Bloomberg have anyway? Maybe I was right after all......

My sympathies. NYC feels a lot like a big European city but without the charm.
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.
