Might be interesting to discover what caliber the agent/officer shot the man with. One shot to the chest at relatively short range, yet the bad guy made it 3 blocks away and survived? Hmmmmmmm.....

amusing, probably not far off from the truth. But more likely scenario is that guns just are not available to law abiding citizens.

BG shot and burglary stopped. Easily found because of the blood trail. I'm calling this a success on the part of the homeowner.

Guess they don't train for doing double taps.
Should have been one in each lung.
The blood trail would only have been 1 block long, and the morgue would have gotten the call instead of the local ER.

It should not surprise anyone that one shot in the chest from a handgun didn't result in instant death. People have survived a chest wound from a .45ACP
