Distance- 2 feet, sitting in a restaurant booth. In the challenge, no one is supposed to pull the trigger, but the teen’s friend, 21-year-old Sherman Lackland, accidentally fired his .40-caliber handgun,
Doing this with loaded guns... sure, what could go wrong!?!?!?
The consolation here is that he killed one of his thug buddies, so with him off to prison, there are 2 off the street.

They were playing a game called "No Lackin Courage" , which proves there's no lack in stupidity for the people who play it.

The rule was not to pull the trigger. It wouldn't surprise me if the 21 year old says he just cheated but didn't actually wan to shoot.I'm just surprised Youtube didn't pull that crap right away. The stupidity of those isn't a surprise and I think it is not the last of such.
And yes, I agree, 2 thugs less on the street.

Has there ever been any sort of social media "challenge" that wasn't completely retarded (dumping icewater on your head, eating Tide, pointing guns at other people for giggles)?

You know, if you want to draw on a friend, even dry fire on a lifelong buddy, large mirrors work great. It is different when a dry fire practice target, reflected in a mirror, is drawing on you as you try to find your front sight.
An unrecommendable drill, of course, in the present world. No way would I suggest practicing on live targets, even just reflections of them. Too many kooks, and too many people that wouldn't understand and twist the idea around.
Be safe.

That stood out with me at first as well, followed by the thought that most of those thugs are likely to have very poor trigger finger discipline... Heck, maybe that idea was to thin them out a bit!bmwrdr wrote:The rule was not to pull the trigger. I am surprised that Tennessee law allows patrons of restaurants to draw their firearms. That seems like an irresponsible oversight.

What makes you think they were carrying legally in the first place?MaduroBU wrote:I am surprised that Tennessee law allows patrons of restaurants to draw their firearms. That seems like an irresponsible oversight.

Mother Nature take a dim view of the stupid, the slow, the lazy. Some individuals survive (some don't) simply because modern civilization prorects them!
Government, like fire is a dangerous servant and a fearful master

Memphis is heavy with gangs. Used to go there in the 70's and 80's and it was great. Mall of Memphis was one of the best shopping places in the country. In the late 80's and early '90's the gangs moved in and there were several shootings in the parking lots, and people stopped coming. They totally closed in 2003 and it has been torn down. We went back to Memphis a few years ago and it is heavy with gang colors running around. I won't even think about going there any more.apostate wrote:What makes you think they were carrying legally in the first place?MaduroBU wrote:I am surprised that Tennessee law allows patrons of restaurants to draw their firearms.
