Yes. Per handgunlaw.us

Does this help?

PROHIBITED LOCATIONS
R.S. 40:1379.3 (N) states that no concealed handgun may be carried into and no concealed handgun permit issued pursuant to this Section shall authorize or entitle a permittee to carry a concealed handgun in any of the following:
A law enforcement office, station, or building;
A detention facility, prison, or jail;
A courthouse or courtroom, provided that a judge may carry such a weapon in his own courtroom;
A polling place;
A meeting place of the governing authority of a political subdivision;
The state capitol building;
Any portion of an airport facility where the carrying of firearms is prohibited under federal law, except that no person shall be prohibited from carrying any legal firearm into the terminal, if the firearm is encased for shipment, for the purpose of checking such firearm as lawful baggage;
Any church, synagogue, mosque or similar place of worship; See RS 40:1379.3 (U)
A parade or demonstration for which a permit is issued by a governmental entity;
Any portion of the permitted area of an establishment that has been granted a Class A-General retail permit, as defined in Part II of Chapter 1 or Part II of Chapter 2 of Title 26 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, to sell alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises.
Any school "firearm free zone" as defined in R.S. 14:95.6.
Re: Does Louisiana allow concealed-carry in restaurants
So a bit more digging. It seems the Class A General permit is different that a Class A Restaurant permit. Namely, Class A General says:
Following that definition my, probably fallacious , logic says a Class A Restaurant permit establishment is not on the prohibited list unless it actually has a Class A General permit. Now my head hurts.(d) A Class A-General retail permit shall be issued only to an establishment where the state law provides that no person under the age of eighteen years is allowed on the premises except as provided in R.S. 26:90(A)(8)(a).

That changed in 2014 to specifically exempt CHL from a restaurant (what they call class A-restaurant permit versus what you found -class A general permit) locations.

Re: Does Louisiana allow concealed-carry in restaurants
I carry in Louisiana restaurants. I am usually traveling on bidness and am alone. They always try to seat me at the bar and I tell them I can't. They (the teenage girl hostesses) always give me a quizzical look. I then tell them I have an alcohol problem and the light goes on and they take me somewhere else. The alcohol problem is carrying in the bar.

Re: Does Louisiana allow concealed-carry in restaurants
I encountered this problem a couple of years ago when inquiring about carrying into a casino. There is no Louisiana law against carrying into a casino.
BUT...
Casinos all have that specific type of alcohol license which prevents carrying a handgun.
Therefore, there is no law against carrying into a casino, but there really is.
Got it now?

That's the problem with the language laws are written in. It is intentionally written so it can be interpreted in several ways so it can be used for whatever purpose suits the current need. Unless you are a lawyer, a person has very little chance of reading it "correctly".

Trust me, even lawyers often disagree on what the law says.
