Anyone on the forum around Arlington comfortable doing this? I would be willing to pay for your time. I'm wanting to add a Skinner receiver mounted peep sight.

Is this an original Winchester 1892? If so, I would pass on it.

If it is a reproduction, try Williamson Precision Gunsmithing on Pipeline Road in Hurst.

Just my .02,
LeonCarr

No it is a brand new (well 8 months old now) Winchester / Miroku chambered in .44 magnum. I can hold a pretty tight group on it as it is but I do have a difficult time seeing the semi-buckhorn rear sight and was wanting something that offers a little faster target acquisition.

Talk to Andrew at http://admgun.com/ in Southlake. He does some beautiful work.

His price schedule lists, "Mount & Lap Rings incl. Bore Sight $ 120". I don't know if that includes drilling &tapping, but a phone call will get the answer.
