Looks to be a safe-queen divorce.

Nope. Probably wouldn't buy it if I was a millionaire, just not interested.

That's what I was thinking. Even IF I could afford it, I can think of better places to spend my money... Like an LS Motor :reddevil

At that amount of dollars, I will go with the 338 from tracking point.

For that money I would expect the appropriate sniper scope mounted and zero'ed.

Here's where he talks about his acquisition of it in 2008 (no purchase price given): http://forum.snipershide.com/snipers-hi ... 115a2.html.

No. I don't pay extra because something is "limited availability" or has "sentimental value" to somebody.

I'd rather put that kind of money towards a Thompson or a BAR.

I think the new world record was set by a Canadian trooper shooting a hand built McMillan .50 BMG. But I could be wrong. Interesting that in any case, it took some pretty sophisticated weaponry and optics to beat Gunny Hathcock's record set by TIG welding an Unertl scope to the side of a Ma Deuce. He didn't have any match grade .50 BMG ammo then - made do with good old ball ammo.

At that price, I could buy a bunch of Ma Deuces, a bunch of Unertl scopes, and TIG weld a bunch of "Hatchcock wannabee weapons" together.

Nothing against the AI, it's a good piece of gear. I just have an affinity for the old Ma Deuce.

For that kind of money I could buy a motorcycle with a sidecar and mount a gun on that.

His username on that site is "Starvin." Anyone who would spend that type of money on a rifle and is starving has a serious problem. :tiphat:

What, you've never heard of the term, "gun poor"?

"I reminded him how he was going to sell it to me before and with a bit of good natured encouragement he agreed on the condition that he gets to buy it back should I ever decide to part with it. "

I wonder what happened there.
