Hey just wondering if anyone owns one. I kinda like it and have thought about adding a shotgun to my bb and pellet guns I currently have. Does anyone have one or has anyone played with one? I've seen both good and bad videos regarding it on YouTube. Looking for some input.
Thanks,
Brian

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; raw video of nothing but problems. Failure to feed. Failure to Extract. Weapon was sent back and reconditioned at factory. Still multiple FTF FTE, Selector switch broke etc. " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just save up a little more and get a Benelli M4

I have heard nothing good about them. And I mean nothing!!!!!

Plus, I guess it's like, liking a hairless cat. You just got to have a soft spot for the pure ugliness of em. :biggrinjester:

HAHA
To me it looks pretty bad ass. I've seen that video but have also seen some positive ones. Those were all a few months back and the more current reviews seem to indicate the issues have been mostly resolved.

on youtube Hickock45 has a comparison between the KSG and the UTS. He had good and bad to say about both. Neither looked very fun to shoot...

Don't you know those are questions you should never ask... It's right up there asking how old. :biggrinjester:

It's plastic at 7#s

The UTS-15 tactical shotgun is a 12 ga. pump action shotgun with two 7-round alternately feeding or selectable magazine tubes, that measuring 28.3” in overall length with a 20,5” barrel chambers for 2 3/4” and 3” magnum ammunition. Constructed primarily of fiber reinforced injection molded polymer the UTS-15 weighs only 6.9 lbs, for quick pointing and easy handling. The top mounted picatinny rail allows for the mounting of a wide variety of both iron and optical sights, which coupled with Beretta style barrel threading for choke tubes allows the UTS-15 to adapt to any situation (sights and choke tube pictured not included).

 ;-)

About 2 pounds lighter than i thought it would be. Might be a great shotgun for 3-gun.

how about the price for the military edition?

So it's 1125 for just the UTS 15. I think the military edition has the breach choke, the extended barrel, the front and rear sights, the integrated light/laser and the padded case. I think it's 1599 as a package, msrp would be 1705. I'm pretty convinced I am ordering one in a few days. I do have a friend that mentioned it might be a fun 3 gun shotgun. I haven't looked in to that yet though maybe I'll let him try it for it and let me know.. ;)

Brian,

The following is NOT a criticism just an observation - If you are planning to shoot 3gun you have two problems with the UTS15 - #1 its a pump. The pump WILL slow you down. #2 the loading ports require you to reach up top and flip open the chamber. This will slow you down a lot.

I shoot 3gun strictly for fun. I will never be competitive. I am too old and fat :banghead: but if you want to actually compete is 3gun you will need something faster than the UTS15. Benelli makes the M2 3gun edition. It's the M2 specially tuned for 3gun. There is a reason that almost all titles won in 3 gun are won with a Benelli and the M2 3gun can be had for $2100 ready to roll. Look at this video. If you want to get to the meat of the matter skip forward to around the 3 minute mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXL40_G_Fxk

All that said the best shotgun for you is the one that feels and shoots the best for you. It may not be the best for me. Whatever equipment you roll with have fun. 3gun is a blast!!!

This is more my speed. Tom Knapp shoots 10 clays with one toss. Well I am not nearly as fast as he is but at least I get to stand in one place!!!
