PROPOSED: Houston Skeet Meet

If I may borrow an idea from The Annoyed Man and AndyC I would like to propose a Houston Skeet Meet... Possibly some time in April before it gets so dang blasted hot in Houston. Possible locations... American Shooting Center on the westside of town, Creekwood Shooting Sports in Conroe is a really nice range. I have only been skeet shooting twice and I am really just learning but its been fun. More of a get totgether and meet fellow TexasCHLForum members than a knock down drag out competition...

The guys in Dallas look like they had a good time and I think we could too. We could run a few rounds and then those who are up to it maybe refreshments and some groceries to stuff down our necks...

Any interest? Ideas or Location suggestions as well? :txflag:

Would be nice to do something like that. I haven't shot skeet since the late sixties early seventies, though. PSC has a skeet range.

I'd like to someday since I haven't shot skeet since I was a kid. Don't have a shotgun though.

Maybe there is a place between DFW and Houston...I'd be up for a road trip for this, maybe one or both the boys would come too. We had a great time and am ready for another day of killing those "skeets". :biggrinjester:

Puma Guy... Know anyone with a PSC membership? Only downside is it looks like PSC members are only allowed to bring 2 guests. However, with the overwhelming response to this thread that may not be a problem :banghead:
