What are the best AK-47's for sale in the U.S.A?
Want to possibly add an AK 47 to the collection. Prefer Eastern European, fixed stock.
I heard that the Chinese Norinco is the top notch - but extremely hard to find (expensive). What about Yugo's? Bulgarian?
Where can I go to get a high quality, fixed stock (maybe blonde)?? What about dealers at the gun shows??.....Which ones should I look for? Anyone heard about RPG Arms?...
Any help from those who have 'em??....

I consider this to be one of the best.
http://www.centerfiresystems.com/bulgar ... r85c2.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Confirm the price on whatever you order. What was $400 last week is now $600+.
I saw WASR-10/63's marked $650 at today's Conroe show.

Whew! I lucked out then on my purchase. I got mine (WASR 10/63) on Thursday and only paid $469. Trying to stockpile ammo now.Mike1951 wrote:I consider this to be one of the best.

Re: What are the best AK-47's for sale in the U.S.A?
I called Southern Ohio Guns this morning at 7am to see what they had left.
Out of all of the AK's that they carry, the only one remaining was the Polish Tantal in 5.45x39. This was cool, since I wanted a second rifle in 5.45. Price was $499, or $50 more than the price in their October flyer. $499 would also have been the normal price at AIM Surplus, so don't feel like I got taken too bad.
Now, if the Messiah just lets up keep them!!

I ordered a Lancaster Ak straight from them a week or so ago. I have not received it yet, but from all the research I did they seem to get a great review and are super friendly to deal with. The price was $650+ depending on the model and options you chose. I was not looking for a hit or miss WASR though. I wanted to buy something I KNEW was good quality and not having to hope I get a good one. Now just need to keep my ammo collection going...

I might be selling my WASR-10 with scope and mount, 5-30 round mags, sling, and approx 500 still in the case WOLF rounds for $620 (working on buying me a CMP M1 Garand)
PM me and we can work out a deal
Heck..for $675...I will throw in the LBV that holds the Mags as well

Yes they do http://www.lancasterarms.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I talked to Mike, he and everyone else I have dealt with was extremely helpful. I'm sure I will be happy with my purchase, but I will have a show and tell along with a range report ASAP. Good luck with your purchase or research

I went to the Powderhorn today and they still had the WASR 10/63 available....but at $595 now....I am still looking. I may regret passing on it - but, I have seen some Bulgarians on the internet for that price....

Prices will climb rapidly closer to the end of the year...if 0bama does do something crazy..expect to see the price of WASR go from 400 to 800 or more...aka 2x the price on everything.
I remember seeing 30 round AR mags going for $60+ a piece!!!!

Re: What are the best AK-47's for sale in the U.S.A?
My girlfriend bought me 2 Romanian Ak mags this weekend for my birthday. I love her to death for getting me stuff I can use, but I have a feeling she was over charged for them. She won't tell me how much she paid for them, but I know where she bought them and her being a hot 26yr old woman probably didn't help her get a good price at the shop she went to. Price on EVERYTHING is up at least 10% on gunbroker and most local shops I have talked to either are out of stock or some slight price gouging going on.

Oh yah...all my AK mags are Romanian to match the WASRWarHawk-AVG wrote:I might be selling my WASR-10 with scope and mount, 5-30 round mags, sling, and approx 500 still in the case WOLF rounds for $650 (working on buying me a CMP M1 Garand)

I would like to sell the whole AK shooting match as one big chunk..instead of having to deal with this and that...just sell it all...I will sell it all for $650 that LBV and all
Has never failed to shoot for me
I will get pics of the entire setup and put in the guns section
