If you get some good, hot milsurp ammo, the fireball will be the size of a blimp!

Best mil surp ammo out there for these? Current Production? Hope to order an 91/30 Hex Reciever by the end of the week. Anyone know of a good FFL to ship to in Hays or Travis County? I am in San Marcos

Actually my buddy lives in Sealy...he can hook you up

PM me for his info

I know where you can get 1985 production (non-corrosive) 7.62x54R 880 count for $160 (It cost me 198.08 to my door)

P.S. I can hook you up on a Hex Mosin

so AIM Surplus has two types of Mosins, one with a hex receiver (which costs $10 more). Is there a reason why it costs more is it any better?

My understanding is the Hex's are more rare and just a little better built at least within other Russian Mosins. Not much more detail than that.

Why?
M91/30 Tula, M91/30 Isshi, M44 Isshi, M44 Tula, any of the Finnish Refurbs, Finnish M38, M39, M91/59.

Because they become addictive (as I look over in my gun case at all the Mosin's in there next to the other one with the K98's.

ammo. Some people say the M44 kicks like a mule because its lighter than the 91/30...but the 7.62x54R is equivalent to the .30-06 so its gonna kick anyway
Naw... the M44 doens't kick at all... if you want to talk about something that likes to get your attention grab you a Budapest M95 in 8x56R and fire off 50-75 rounds of mil-surp from it. I'm real good about being able to handle recoil, but that danged thing had my shoulder hurting for 3 days afterwards... so I went out and ordered another one! :woohoo
