Followed me home today
Re: Lets see those evil SKS and AK Variants!
Changed out buttstock for Tapco 6 position and front upper/lower handguard for UTG quad rail upper. I must say, the rubber rail covers on the UTG quad rail are very comfortable.

Man, I love the look of the AK. Some people call them ugly, but not me.Tajovo wrote:Changed out buttstock for Tapco 6 position and front upper/lower handguard for UTG quad rail upper. I must say, the rubber rail covers on the UTG quad rail are very comfortable.

Funny that you mentioned that Pinky, I mounted my tac-light after I took the pictures. Shopping around for a red dot at the moment. I agree with Lawrnk, I love the look of ak's and couldn't stop myself from snaping a few pictures after mounting the new furniture.

About how much did that setup cost you? I recently remembered I got a pay raise (when I looked at my account I was happily surprised) so after I get my G19 (or other comparable handgun, any recommendations?) I'm looking at getting an AK or AR-15

Have you thought about a FastFire? A friend of mine just got one and I like the way it works on something like that.Tajovo wrote:Shopping around for a red dot at the moment.

Looks nice and I do prefer the reflex-type red dot. I'll have to check to local dealers so I can inspect one up close. Thanks for the link.Kalrog wrote:Have you thought about a FastFire? bajorn5 that cz-52 rifle is awesome, I love every thing CZ, it's never failed to impress me so far.
pinky if your still looking for handguns you might want to check out a CZ 75b or SP-01 or other CZ, they are great and very underrated guns.

This is my third but finally a keeper AK. The other 2 were WASRs...first was a disaster, second was dependable enough, but this is just plain smooth. Romanian G kit built on NDS-3 reciever, AK-74 style break, and I refinished the wood myself. Not bad for a garage job and first time! Enjoy

http://www.buymilitaria.com/vz52_html/c ... gazine.htm <- magsbajorn5 wrote:This is the closest I have to a SKS/AK
It is a CZ-52 Rifle re-chambered in 7.62x39 from the original 7x57 or 7.62x45
I have kept it as it has BHO, threaded muzzle and a much faster cyclic rate compared to an AK.
I only have 2 10 rd magazines though.

And its the vZ-52 Rifle..not the cZ-52 Pistol
