I also once drove past a small group protesters on I-59 while driving through Houston. As traffic slowed to a crawl and then a stop I was expecting the worst. Fortunately they were not blocking the road and it turned out to be a non-threatening roadside oddity. However, although armed with my EDC and extra mags, I couldn't help but seriously think "damn, I wish I had an AR-15." Hence my hesitation to repeat the same mistake.

I fully support Trump and his immigration policy. But no matter which side of the political spectrum you are on, I don't think protesters are going to take the time to stop and ask.

"I am a daughter of two immigrants that came here illegally, yes," one woman in attendance told WFAA in tears. "And that’s the only crime they’ve ever committed."

Okay, so you admit that you and your family are criminals that are breaking the law. Yet, you say you are "good people"? Good people don't commit crimes.
Your feelings don't supersede the laws of the United States. Go back to your own country and behave as good law abiding citizens there.

People who invade a country, parade with the flag of where they came from and then say we are good people is the definition of an oxymoronic statement. I'm sure if I illegally entered Mexico, paraded with an American flag and told them I am
good people" they would just say "OK no problem" instead of throwing me in jail. LOL
