Fair trade?
So I'm looking to unload (no pun intended) my KelTec P3AT for something else...to be honest, I thought I'd use a bug but I never do and this has been a safe queen for a while now. I found someone interested in trading for a Winchester 94 .44mag rifle. I've wanted a lever action for a while and this seems to be a good trade. It is synthetic stock and from the pics, looks to be in good shape. I want to make sure neither of us are getting ripped off, so I thought I'd check with y'all. Thanks!!

I think your getting the deal, I have not seen a 94 in any caliber for under $400.00 in over a year. Not sure how much used P3AT's go for, but I'm guessing around $200.00 to $275.00? My two cents.
Re: Fair trade?
As long as both parties are happy...
That said, I'm with Weg. I think a 94 would sell here for significantly more than a P3AT.

Yep, you are getting the better deal but if you both are happy then who cares?

Its not who makes out better in a deal...its if both parties have compromised enough to be happy with the results

Re: Fair trade?
as much as I like my P3AT (in my IWB right now, as a matter of fact), I wouldn't hesitate, IF the lever gun is in proper condition. One way to make it totally fair (and keep a friend) is to meet at the range and shoot before you trade. I have done that a couple of times, and kept my friends, and had happy dealings as well.
I'd go for it!
