Cheap 7.62x39 at Academy

Academy stores in TX have 7.62x39 FMJ 123 grain Russian steel case laquered ammo
for $2.99/20 box 74.75/500 case. It is the Monarch Academy house brand.

The Round Rock store had a bunch in stock as of this morning. I read on some other forums that other Academy stores were out of it.

I heard two reasons for the low price. One was apparently they intended to order 7,000 boxes, but made a mistake and ordered 70,000 so they have to get rid of it. The other is that it is just a sale, 2 case limit per customer, sale ends November 1.

This is a pretty good price and may be the last chance to buy it before President Obama bans all foreign ammunition imports.
