Man, I love the look of the AK. Some people call them ugly, but not me.Tajovo wrote:Changed out buttstock for Tapco 6 position and front upper/lower handguard for UTG quad rail upper. I must say, the rubber rail covers on the UTG quad rail are very comfortable.
my dream AK, although I would have a red dot and tac-light on itTajovo wrote:Changed out buttstock for Tapco 6 position and front upper/lower handguard for UTG quad rail upper. I must say, the rubber rail covers on the UTG quad rail are very comfortable.
Have you thought about a FastFire? A friend of mine just got one and I like the way it works on something like that.Tajovo wrote:Shopping around for a red dot at the moment.
Looks nice and I do prefer the reflex-type red dot. I'll have to check to local dealers so I can inspect one up close. Thanks for the link.Kalrog wrote:Have you thought about a FastFire? kalipsocs wrote:This is my third but finally a keeper AK. The other 2 were WASRs...first was a disaster, second was dependable enough, but this is just plain smooth. Romanian G kit built on NDS-3 reciever, AK-74 style break, and I refinished the wood myself. Not bad for a garage job and first time! Enjoy

It is a CZ-52 Rifle re-chambered in 7.62x39 from the original 7x57 or 7.62x45
I have kept it as it has BHO, threaded muzzle and a much faster cyclic rate compared to an AK.
I only have 2 10 rd magazines though.
