AR Pistol Stock

I want to start off by saying I know that I made a mistake. I am better informed now.

I took advantage of the generous offer to register my AR pistol as an SBR. There, I said it.

Now that it is done, can I change the stock from the brace to a standard stock? If so, would I change the buffer tube as well?

I am just learning about the AR platform and don't know where to look for that information.
