The most amazing thing to me is that this engineered process can make generations of people absolutely immune to reasons and facts to the point where they will believe what they are told even when it is contradicted by what they can plainly see in front of them.
The logical follow on is that there is no amount of discussion or evidentiary presentation that will change the minds of these people. The implications of that are horrifying.

Exactly. The Indoctrination System aka Education System has thoroughly brainwashed multiple generations of Americans. That indoctrination has been aided and abetted by the Propaganda Department aka the media.

And this is why at some point we will have to go guns on! So long as I draw breath I will not allow my grandchildren to grow up in a Socialist Utopia!

I recall from the late 60's how our elders were so "concerned" about the impact of television and popular music on us, the kids. Our source of morals was church and family then. When I first heard this interview in the 90's I thought "demoralization" meant making the people lose heart in their government. I realize now "demoralization" means to abandon all moral behavior. I pray that the hard working, God fearing, armed folks in America work together to subvert this attempt against US. (pun intended)

Honestly I do believe that part of the "demoralization" process has been the shift from rural agricultural America to urban and suburban America. Farmers tend to be honest and hardworking by nature. With the horrible influences on the young these days in urban centers it takes a special effort to raise children properly.
Taking back our country is not all about Washington, but taking back Hollywood and education system and more.

Ever since I was a small boy, I've heard that the deterioration of American values, and subsequently of America itself, will happen very, very slowly, gradually, so we won't notice it until it's too late. It happens in increments that are so small, we overlook them as being insignificant, when in fact they are a very large, slow-growing cancer.

Yes, for a long time, there was a massive Soviet-backed and steered movement to damage the USA from within. Then, the Soviet Union collapsed (because socialism just doesn't work). There was a short period of disarray within the forces who were driving things, but that didn't last for long. The Chinese quickly took up the work where the Soviets had left off, and have been pushing things ever since. Think about this. The Chinese have entire units of their military devoted to online warfare. They have so many people dedicated to online warfare that, at one time, they had a unit dedicated to a practice called "gold farming" in a very popular massive online multiplayer game. Here is a definition of gold farming: "Gold farming is the practice of playing a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) to acquire in-game currency, later selling it other players for real-world money." If they can waste men doing that, think of what else the Chinese are doing online.

A long time ago, I used to pray that we would not have a revolution or violent change in the US but that if it was necessary, please let it happen in my time so my kids would not need to worry about it. More recently, as my youngest child is now a college senior and my oldest is in his 40s, that has changed to please let me be wrong when i say this is rapidly coming, but if I am right that we are headed to a violent breakdown, please let it happen quickly so that my grandchildren grow up free and do not have to remember it. Let me and my adult children fight this war and please help us be successful.
My hope that we can go without going to the guns diminishes further every day. I am coming to believe more strongly that this November's election will trigger it. If Biden wins, we may not have it in 2020, but I feel guaranteed we will not make it through 2024 without a violent revolution. If Biden loses, I feel confident we will not make it to January without it starting.

All of this makes me wonder how Americans in 1775 felt. Did a significant number of them understand what was happening and see the revolution coming? Some did of course, but in the summer and fall of 1775 how many thought that Franklin, Washington, Adams, and the others were just a bunch of loud mouthed firebrands who would hide when the real shooting started?

This is all too familiar:
...they are not interested in solution, but in power, and for that, problems are infinitely superior to solutions.
When communists win and get the policies they scream for, or seize control of the institutions they covet, there never seems to be a period when they just get on with life and demonstrate the superiority (much less the viability) of their system. Faced with the consequences of their policies, they seem to revert to their core competency: revolution and liquidation of heretics.
Much truth here. We are up against people who want power for power's sake and are using "problems" as the excuse to erode the freedom our forefather's fought and died for.
