19th Anniversary of 911

Just a place for a quiet moment to remember and reflect on the events of September 11, 2001. We have a whole generation of college-age kids for whom that day is no more immediate than the wars in Vietnam or Korea, who didn't live through the gut wrenching coverage as it unfolded live on television, who didn't experience the country casting aside, at least for a while, the petty partisan politics and self-serving ideologies. We can never forget. We can never forget the men and women who were murdered and the first responders who rushed in to help, regardless of the threat to their own lives. We can never forget the heroes of Flight 93 who made the ultimate sacrifice to prevent the killing of more Americans, people they had never met and would never know. But they were fellow Americans, so they deserved protection by other Americans.

Especially now, in the midst of a time when American cities are consumed by Americans rioting, a time when obscure but fundamentally Marxist organizations are receiving large corporate donations and recognition, a time when those across the nation who swore to protect and serve are facing unrelenting cries to defund law enforcement...

We must never forget.
