I saw this "1619 riots" and didn't know what it meant.

It is tied to a New York Times essay that slandered America per the NY Post.

Mount Rushmore is doomed to the 1619 Riots.

I’ll just continue to ignore the NY Slimes and whatever lies they are peddling.

Just as an example of how insidious this line of thought is, the author of the NY Post article on call them the 1619 riots (Charles Kesler) bought into it and doesn't even realize it. His article starts the third paragraph by commenting on "the justified indignation over George Floyd's killing." The indignation wasn't justified and Floyd killed himself, not the police. The official autopsy says so when it says he died of heart failure. The effects of the drugs on his heart were aggravated by the fight with the police, but there is no indication at all that any action of the officers other than merely restraining him contributed to his death, let alone killed him. And I truly do not understand how they ruled his death a homicide based on the rest of the report.

Here's a video from The Hill:

Here's the NYT video on it. I don't have the stomach to watch it.

Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams
