Protests are planned for Friendswood and League City on June 6th

Next Door and other places state there will be protests in Friendswood and League City today, just an FYI. I don’t expect anything to happen and I’m sure they will stay peaceful but wanted people to be aware.

Thanks for the warning. I will be sure to stay far away.
I just saw that a march in League City is planned for June 7th at 6-8PM.

This tongue-in-cheek (I assumee) statement reflects a growing frustration and realization that emergency responders will likely arrive too late. I take matters into my own hands by knowing the law and staying within that boundary. Texans have significant latitude for self-defense within the law. Texas law provides for our using our own hands in self-defense. When I am acting lawfully in self-defense, I am "taking the law into my own hands."
