I was watching the Fox News special "America Together" tonight (Sunday) and host Pete Hegseth did a segment where he was home schooling his children. He was wearing slacks and a tucked in shirt. When he turned around to write something on the board, he had a handgun in an IWB holster at his 4 o'clock position. My wife saw it too and said "that is the way you carry". Did anyone else see this?

No, I did not watch. Now I have go find it ... OK. Yep, he's packin'.

I'm pretty sure that he lives in the NY/NJ area. I guess that at home, he can carry though NY had special rules just to buy a handgun. If he has a public carry permit, those are rare in that area, even for TV personalities and, I would think, especially rare for Fox News TV personalities. I know that Hannity has such a permit because he has talked about it. In an area where your politics are more important than anything in being able to carry a pistol, I'm glad Pete is able to do it.

Historically, according to the FBI study on school shootings, Teachers are the first responders, so that's a good decision.
Also, someone informed me once that ALMOST ALL "home invasions" occur at someone's home, so a doubly good decision while Home schooling
