I wonder if he'll be anti-second amendment enough for Chicago?

“Death has come directly to David Brown's doorstep,” said the mayor. Brown lost a former partner and other officers under his command, and even his son and a brother to gun violence."

I hope he doesn’t make any more decisions or policies that get any more officers killed.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Second City Cop blog has a rumor that Arlington Texas is looking for a new police chief, and guess who has applied for the job...
Just a rumor for now, but if you've been paying any attention to the fiasco of the new Chicago mayor's handling of the police, the teacher's union, and the commie flu, and the floyd "protests," plus Brown's fumbling, it's not out of the realm of possibility that he wants to leave.

It is not a rumor that Arlington Police is looking for a new chief. The current chief is retiring this month. I hope its a rumor that this guy wants the job.ELB wrote: ↑Fri Jun 19, 2020 5:03 pm Second City Cop blog has a rumor that Arlington Texas is looking for a new police chief, and guess who has applied for the job...

Yeah, my phraseology was off a bit. The rumor is who may have applied for it. Given this is Chicago, someone may have started it just to put more pressure on Brown. But it's fascinating - like watching a car wreck - to watch chicago come unglued.
