I wonder if he'll be anti-second amendment enough for Chicago?

This is why he got the job;
“Death has come directly to David Brown's doorstep,” said the mayor. Brown lost a former partner and other officers under his command, and even his son and a brother to gun violence."

I hope he doesn’t make any more decisions or policies that get any more officers killed.

Second City Cop blog has a rumor that Arlington Texas is looking for a new police chief, and guess who has applied for the job...

Just a rumor for now, but if you've been paying any attention to the fiasco of the new Chicago mayor's handling of the police, the teacher's union, and the commie flu, and the floyd "protests," plus Brown's fumbling, it's not out of the realm of possibility that he wants to leave.

If you've not been to Second City Cop blog before, be warned it doesn't follow same language rules as this forum.

It is not a rumor that Arlington Police is looking for a new chief. The current chief is retiring this month. I hope its a rumor that this guy wants the job.

Yeah, my phraseology was off a bit. The rumor is who may have applied for it. Given this is Chicago, someone may have started it just to put more pressure on Brown. But it's fascinating - like watching a car wreck - to watch chicago come unglued.
