The TSRA (Texas State Rifle Association) is holding its AGM (Annual General Meeting) on Friday & Saturday, 2/28-29/2020.
Site: Texas Ranger Museum in Waco, right next to I-35.

I should be there bright and early on Friday at 830 AM or so, to get registered. My ticket was purchased way in advance. I don't know if you can buy tickets the days of the events.

Friday has a bunch of meeting from 9-5. 6-8 is "Night at the Museum". The museum has a great collection of firearms to go along with the Texas Rangers' history.

One of Saturday's events is a speech with Allen West.

If anyone is going, I would like to visit with you. I will be wearing my gold and black name tag with "SIA. surprise_i'm_armed. TexasCHLForum" on it, my LBJ Stetson, my navy blazer, and a bolo tie.

If anyone is going, please respond on this thread, or come up and say howdy if you see me there.

Happy Trails, all.

SIA

Surprise,

I'll be there bright and early too, driving in from Fort Hood area. I'll be the guy in the blue blazer with my TSRA Life Member pin on one lapel and my wings on the other. Stetson too, but not an LBJ/Open Road style

Great. Registration opens about 830 AM. It shouldn't be hard to meet up.

I'm leaving from Shady Shores, Denton County, at 0530 to beat the DFW morning rush hour.

Good times! Really enjoyed hearing LTC Allen West speak and meeting Jack Wilson, SIA, and so many other outstanding patriots who make Texas Great! :txflag:

Sorry I didn't get the chance to speak with you AF-Odin. Hopefully we'll meet another time.

Saw The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum for the first time and really enjoyed that too. There is tons of unique history there and I especially enjoyed seeing the firearms that Frank Hamer & crew used against Bonnie & Clyde and their stole firearms.

We've got a huge battle coming up with the 2020 election. Bloomberg has shipped $8 Million to Invade Texas and Elect Anti-Gun Politicians. We're gonna have to fight for our rights so we don't end up like Virginia. I upgraded my TSRA membership to Defender Life and hope that others are willing to join me in helping defend OUR State and our sacred liberty against an attempted "leveraged buyout" by New York.

Well, I was so busy I did not get time to check in here before I left. I was in the brown hat taking ticket for Friday's dinner/auction and working the book table on Saturday. SIA I believe I saw you in the museum Saturday afternoon. Palidin is right about the museum, it's great. Those boys certainly like their gear bar-b-que style.

Although I disagree with one thing. They had a SKS semi-auto rifle labeled as an assault rifle because it met the federal definition, then listed the assault weapon definition.

And a note for next year, they could use a couple more volunteers, even if just for a short time.
