An anti-Trump Fort Worth man requested license plate "JAIL 45", since he believes the 45th president should be imprisoned.

He was issued the plates, and put them on his 2011 white Mustang, next to his "Beto" sticker. Someone took offense, contacted TexDOT, and they revoked his plate.

Hundreds of proposed vanity plates are turned down each year by TexDOT, but in a recent fiscal year, only 12 plates were revoked after being issued.

I don't agree with his politics, but I don't see that he was harming anyone with it.

Read further in the post about proposed vanity plates that were not allowed by the state.

Those that know me should know I'm kind of up on license plate trivia, so of course I had to post this when I saw it. :-)

He got a taste of Liberal medicine where if a liberal does not like something conservatives like a conservative must lose access to it.

Back in the National 55mph speed limit days I requested and received 55 SUX for my Trans Am. Halfway thru the year I found out from an HPD friend the plate was listed on their computers “not to be renewed” for the following year.

I don’t get why "LDYJEDI" would be revoked.

“In my view, [Trump] is a crook and needs to go to jail,” Balkenbush said......

...his breaking point was the White House’s attacks on Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman
Ahh, that's rich. Everyone can dog the POTUS but God forbid you question a political pawn of the opposition!
The eighth-grade American history teacher said he considers himself a moderate and has voted for both Republicans and Democrats. He supported George W. Bush and John McCain, but voted for Barack Obama in 2012 and Hillary Clinton in 2016.

“I’m definitely voting Democrat this time, regardless of who the nomination is,” he said. “I would like it to be Biden, that’s who I think can most likely beat Trump, but I’m definitely voting Democrat just because of what Trump is doing to this country.”
Yes, he really sounds moderate! About as moderate as Schiff or Nadler.

Now now, lets not make fun of someone with a mental illness. TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) is very real and some folks cannot get over what happened in 2016. :biggrinjester:

As a side note, has anybody else noticed how terrible those with "Beto" stickers on their car are at driving? Usually just annoying, but sometimes dangerous?

"Jedi" is trademarked so I figure that is why.

The state of Texas does not have any problem OK'ing vanity plates with gun themes.

In Denton County's Hickory Creek and Highland Village, I have seen these: 45 ACP and 45 AUTO.

In Collin County's Plano and Frisco, I have seen these: SIG NINE, SIG 45, and 2A-4VR.

If anyone has seen any gun-themed vanity plates, please share on this thread.

assuming it's on a car, "45 AUTO" has the added benefit of being a pun.....
