Our current societal acceptance of abortion helps feed our younger generations willingness to commit mass murder, We are made in God's image, killing the innocent is strictly forbidden, taking of a human life even in self defense is a solemn affair, eating of human flesh is a line very few want to even talk about much less cross!

There used to be other things that were taboo to talk about or do. Hollywood and the MSM have not only normalized some of these things, they also encourage people to celebrate them.

This is an indication of the sick philosophy and lack of morals of the authors. Not surprising for the so called academics of the “psychology” profession. The common theme is the rejection of any religious or other absolute morality. When everything is situationally relative nothing is immoral. Even putting aside whether cannibalism could be morally justifiable under extreme circumstances, the article is really an attack on the morals of the civilized. Also note the plagiarism of Jonathan Swift and the thinly veiled pro-vegan and abortion arguments. Truly sick.

No not forget that symbolic cannibalism is a long-practiced Christian tradition. It is not taboo in all contexts for our culture.

If I were stuck out on a raft in the middle of the ocean and one of my ship mates died on day 65, I might have to consider it.

My memory of the Andes football team plane crash, they were very careful, and deliberate. They only ate people no one knew or was related to.
