The above story is very detailed about how a convicted felon managed to have 7 female straw buyers purchase 30 pistols over a short period of time.
He immediately flipped the brand new pistols for a profit. It's still very shocking that these women repeatedly bought 2 or 4 pistols at a time, at the same chain of gun stores, but it took the LEO's a while to nab them.

The felon generally preferred Smith and Wesson SD9VE's and SD40VE's, but also ordered some Rugers: EC9S, LCP II, Security 9, and a Taurus G2C.

By buying lower priced pistols, he was able to sell them for much more on the mean streets of Detroit.
