James Bond needed a tuxedo from which to draw his PPK. :-)

I am totally guilty of flip-flopping while carrying.
.....but I
HAVE actually thought this through....
1. Homey don’t run (see #3), so it doesn’t matter what’s on my feet. I’ve no intention of drawing my gun unless presented with an immediate threat, within self-defense range.
2. I’m not
chasing anybody....not even my grandkids when we’re playing together.
3. The best rapid gait I can manage with my broken down ankle is that "old Japanese woman in a kimono" shuffle, in which flip-flops qualify as tactical boots.
4. I
own a pair of "tactical boots", and I even wear them in cold or wet weather, or on rough terrain, but I can’t really move any faster in them than I can in sneakers or flip- flops. I might as well be comfortable.
5. The zombies are going to eat me first, as soon as I run out of ammo. I’m ok with that because I’m friends with Jesus.
.....and....
6. I’m pretty sure that comedian knows more about pistol carry than he’s letting on. I actually checked to see if he was printing under that untucked shirt.

So did I until he started projecting.
And then he said "i don't even own guns and I know that..."

I think this means I will need to do one of two things, either rework my wardrobe so that it color coordinates with the colors of my guns, mostly black and FDE, or begin buying guns, in a larger color palette.
Who am I kidding? Everyone knows I hate clothes shopping. So there is really only one option.

Couldn't watch the whole thing...once he starts sneering about gun owners I"m out.
He's just another liberal who prefers you not to have AR15's.
But, actually, yes I have seen women wearing tiaras while not wearing ball gowns. In Austin, on a Saturday night, three of them...jeans, nice tops and tiaras.

I can run as fast in my Burks as I can in sneakers. Which isn't all that fast. I Wear what I want and don't let the fashionistas dictate my choices.

I gave up running a long time ago. Haven't found anything lately worth running after, and I'm not prone to run away from anything either. Well, except something that is about to go boom maybe but that is not likely currently.
I used t have tacticool boots but can't remember what I did with them. I wear steel toe high lace-ups to work, mostly cowboy boots if I'm in the mood. I have 6 pair of those, some for church, the rest for whatever.
My comfort shoes are Sketchers loafers. Flip flops are for around the house.
I naver have been a slave to fashion. I can't recall how many times Mrs. Anygun has said "You're not wearing that are you?"

This is Texas. I have Cowboy boots! However I usually wear sandals in my off hours. At this age, running is not in the cards.

Several years ago, I was visiting the range when this gangbanger want-to-be-type with full tats and droopy jeans decides he wants to shoot next to me on the same outdoor range. Oh joy! I was silently debating changing ranges when I heard the unmistakable rhythm of full auto suppressed fire. Sure enough, Mr. Tattoo had a suppressed SBR. In fact, he had several interesting suppressed rifles and worked in “law enforcement”. Since he was my neighbor on the range, I did the honorable thing and offered to test some of his interesting firearms, and shockingly he agreed! Nicest and scariest looking guy you would ever want to meet – looks are deceiving.

Best laugh I've had in a long while.
