I was blessed that I grew up in the country and could pick off the whitetails feeding off the apple trees from outside my mom’s kitchen door. Not very sporting but the venison was fantastic. My buddy, who lived in the city, used to have to sneak over to a wooded, undeveloped patch of land with his bow* for his. Can't imagine what would happen to him nowadays.
*No trophy wives were harmed in the harvesting of our deer.

We had the same situation locally a few years ago.
Smart people suggested strongly to control the ober-population.
Dumb libtards cried rape. Threw sticks under everybody's feet, the city council couldn't do sh*t. Shooting them was "loud and disturbing". Using a crossbow was "scary silent and barbaric". Libtards demanded relocation of the cute deer to a better place. Trapping was protested on the grounds of "traumatizing" the poor animals.
Nobody was allowed to do anything to correct the problem in its early stages.
Then the drought and first human attacks came. Deer were hungry, no greenery left in the drought. They started getting bold and attacked soccer moms and trophy wives in fancy neighborhood when they were unloading juicy yummy veggies from their expensive SUVs.
It didn't take more than a week to pass the vote and reduce the deer population.
Good luck to all East Coasters, They'll need it. I bet they'll have to go through the same motions we did. The stupids just won't learn from their own mistakes.
