This just in:
Californian's are jumping with joy as they heard the news that the Los Angeles Dodgers have found up to as many as 21 runs that were not counted previously during the World Series games 1, 2, 4 and 5 with the Boston Red Sox.
Baseball officials stated that although the runs are somewhat late, they must be counted and have officially announced the Dodgers as the new World Series Champions!

Those would have to go under the "popular runs" since the electoral runs scored by Boston, we're the result of gerrymandering. LA is planning a resolution, to require that all runs in a series, be counted, and that the winner would be determined, by a cumulative score, rather than the outdated method, set out by baseball's founders, of determining the winner of each game, based on the score after 27 outs have been counted against one team. LA belives also, that games can be determined, by the number of famous people present at home games, thereby giving cities like LA, and NYC a fairer representation, of opportunities, against teams like Milwaukee, and St Louis.

This game is under review and the umpire will announce the result shortly after observation and instant replay.

But even though the provisional runs were deemed invalid, since they have now been mixed with other runs they cannot be removed and must count.
