North Texas Meet up?

I noticed DFW has regular meet ups (having breakfast and what not) and I had asked them if there was a group that got together in the north texas area and they said no and suggested i start oneup. Was wondering if there were any other LTC holders in North Texas. By north texas I mean denton county/cooke county/grayson county/montague county. REAL north texas . jk jk. but yea, if there are any other northern north texas people who would wanna get together and meet up occasionally lemme know. i have a feeling there won't be very many but you never know.

Funny you posted this. I've seen a couple of threads that made me think the same thing recently. What/where did you have in mind?

not sure. maybe have a range day or something or just get together and eat and shoot the breeze.

I'd be down. As long as it's not too far out or early. If we're planning breakfast, Sherman/Denison is definitely a no-go. Gainesville is pushing it. Pilot Point or Whitesboro would be doable. But if we're thinking lunch or brunch or something, then all of the above is looking a lot better.

In keeping with tradition, there is a Rudy's in Denton. Otherwise, I'm totally down for a range day or something like that. I've got plenty of toys that are itching to see the light of day. Let's see who else would be interested in either, and we can figure out what/where is best for everyone.

interested - been very busy and not able to get to the Frisco breakfast. with enough advance notice a range day would be awesome. somewhere with pistol / tac bays and rifle with 100+yd would be ideal

so thats 5 of us so far. anywhere is fine. im not a big breakfast/morning person but i definitely am a range/shooting person andi just bought 600 rds of S&W .40 flat nose so im all set.

interesting... this gun range is south of the North Star Dragway between sanger and denton and i have NEVER heard of it before and I cant find a phone number or website or even an official address on google for it... any of you guys ever heard of this range before?

The only other ranges in this area i know of are 2 north of muenster and i mean WAY out in the boonies bear marysville. one in sherman and one in sanger.
